Wooden toys are increasingly favored by parents and children due to their excellent hand feel and puzzle functions. But wooden toys are prone to turning black and moldy in damp environments.
Wooden toys do not require frequent cleaning. When cleaning wooden toys, we first use a clean gauze or handkerchief dipped in 75% alcohol, 3% baking soda solution, or 5% bleach solution to wipe the toy, and then use a dry cloth to wipe it again.
You can also use a cloth soaked in white vinegar to wipe wooden toys for disinfection and sterilization. And it can be reassuring that once the toy is wiped, the smell of vinegar can evaporate in a short period of time and cannot be smelled.
Generally, it is not recommended to wash wooden toys with water. However, if the surface of the toy has been coated with soaking paint, you can use a clean gauze or handkerchief dipped in milk bottle cleaning solution to wipe the surface of the wooden toy, then rinse with a large amount of water. Finally, use a clean gauze or handkerchief to wipe off the water droplets on the surface of the wooden toy, and place each piece separately to air dry.
Tip:
1. When cleaning and drying wooden toys, it is necessary to flip them occasionally to ensure that different sides can be fully dried.
2. Good wooden toys are relatively durable and safe, and maintenance is not difficult. If the wood turns yellow after long-term storage, just use sandpaper to grind it.
